The Drunkard’s Path block is so versatile! There are multitudes of ways to set them together to make interesting quilt configurations. The piecing of curves needn’t send you into a tailspin! Kelly will show you how quickly and easily the piecing of this block can be mastered. As a bonus, she’ll also show you a mystery means to the same end: a non-piecing construction method. Laurel’s Wreath – Kathy Delaney

Join Kathy as she presents an appliqué quilt pattern, first published in rural newspapers as part of the weekly column written by Florence LaGanke Harris, that featured the antics of a fictional quilt club led by the fictional Nancy Page. The weekly column included patterns and stories about the club as they stitched the series quilt, “Laurel Wreath Quilt”. We will meet once a month to work on the techniques needed to make this quilt, that are sure to improve your appliqué skills. Our first class will concentrate on some alternative fabric choices to the original. Pattern included. Some appliqué experience required. Class fee $67.

Russian Punchneedle – Natalie Hutchison

This centuries old needle art creates stunningly beautiful pieces with a richness of texture and color and can be created in only a few hours with relatively few supplies. Small to large pieces can be used for all types of decorative items; such as pillows, basket lids, button covers, purses, framed art, and tote bags. The list is endless.
