Join Kathy as she presents an appliqué quilt pattern, first published in rural newspapers as part of the weekly column written by Florence LaGanke Harris, that featured the antics of a fictional quilt club led by the fictional Nancy Page. The weekly column included patterns and stories about the club as they stitched the series quilt, “Laurel Wreath Quilt”. We will meet once a month to work on the techniques needed to make this quilt, that are sure to improve your appliqué skills. Our first class will concentrate on some alternative fabric choices to the original. Pattern included. Some appliqué experience required. Class fee $67.
